Bioplastic compound

Green material solution enables end-products to be biodegradable within 12 months

The demand for biodegradable plastic is an ongoing trend in the plastic industry. Businesses and consumers are prone to be concerned about sustainable development and the environment. This is when bioplastic prevails over conventional plastics.

Bioplastic compound is made from renewable biomass sources such as polylactic acid (PLA) and Polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA), plants and vegetables (corn, palm oil, potatoes), or fossil fuels like aliphatic-aromatic co-polyester (PBAT). In comparison, conventional petrochemical-based plastics are produced from petroleum or natural gas, which is used to be more cost-effective. However, the price gap between mine-sourced and biodegradable polymers has decreased in the past few years.

Not all bioplastic compounds have great biodegradability. Some bio-based plastics made from renewable resources do not decompose completely but only decay. On the other hand, other biodegradable plastics have a biological origin and the capacity to decompose naturally into water and CO2 under the influence of microorganisms.

One advantage of biodegradable and compostable compound is that it lessens the dependence of the material on fossil fuels. Based on the life cycle assessment (LCA), it reduces the carbon footprint in the manufacturing process. Bioplastic compounds also improve mechanical properties of unprocessed plastics, decompose faster and have fewer toxins.

Bioplastic compounds are utilized in various aspects of the industry: electronics, automotive & transport, household appliances, construction, fibres and especially food packaging. Bioplastics are rapidly replacing traditional plastics in the manufacture of food packaging. Compostable bags, agricultural foils, and textiles are examples of bioplastic packaging materials. Additionally, they are frequently used for food containers, salad bowls, plates, and disposable cutlery.

BioNEXT is a bio compound exclusively developed by EuroPlas. It can be decomposable within a year after use. EuroPlas guarantees that the final product goes through strict quality control management to meet all the requirements. Let's build our green world with the following Europlas bioplastic compounds:

Color masterbatch

Material solution enhances end-products' aestheticity by providing exact color

Color masterbatch is manufactured from high-quality pigments, carrier resin, and some special additives. It helps create a colorful and eye-catching appearance for plastic products and covers aesthetic requirements. EuP color masterbatch consists of a wide range of products, from simple to complex colors and effects.

Color masterbatch is easy for plastic manufacturers to use directly in the mixing processes, hence, saving both the processing time and production cost. Final products can have stable color shade, good light fastness, and heat resistance delivered by excellent color dispersion ability. Moreover, coloring plastic by this method does not cause any bad influence on the environment like using industrial pigments or other plastic coloring methods. Let’s look at some of its superior features below:

Plastic additives

Material solution improves production effeciency and end-products' funtions

Plastic products are used in many industries because they are inexpensive and easy to process. However, not all the resins have the required properties from the outset. To address this problem, plastic manufacturers have invented a wide range additives for plastics.

Plastic additives are substances that are added during the production process to ensure the material is high-performance when molded and used. They make manufacturing more high-performance by reducing friction between materials and the machine wall. In addition, plastic additives can enhance the plastic chemical and physical resistance against the environment, increasing plastics' durability and longevity.

Europlas provides a variety of plastic additives, including Odor removing additives, Desiccants, Flame retardants, Anti-fog additives, Anti-aging additives, Processing-aid additives, Anti-static additives, Anti-UV additives, and Anti-blocking additives. Europlas will help you select the suitable additives and the right amount to create the final products as your demand. Learn more about the details of each additive type below:

Engineering plastic compound

Full-function-in-one-material solution for end-products

Engineering plastic compounds are made of resin, additives, and reinforcements that are specially designed to achieve the required properties of the final product. The base resin of the compound are engineering plastics like ABS, PP, and PC. Glass fibers and beads, conductive carbon, barium sulfate, talc, and other materials are some of the most common reinforcing agents in engineering plastic compounds.

Engineering Plastic compounds is a time-saving and cost-efficient method for applications demanding special properties. Engineering plastic can be used in automobile, electronics manufacturing, interior decoration and renewable energy,

EuroPlas plastic engineering compound is the optimal solution with flexibility, high quality, and all functions in just one material. We offer a wide range of products including PBT GF-FR compound, PA6, PA66 blend compound, PC flame retardant compound, ABS Glass fiber compound, ABS Antistatic compound... to give our customers finished products that can perform efficiently. Find out about the features of those engineering plastics below.

Filler masterbatch

Cost-effective material solution for plastic enterprises

Filler masterbatch is a compound of calcium carbonate CaCO3 (or other mineral powder), primary resin, and other plastic additives following customers' desires. Filler masterbatch is widely used to enhance stiffness and bend strength, lessen shrinkage, and increase the finished product's stability, printability, and surface quality. Besides, this material helps save energy when processing since CaCO3 has great thermal transmission ability. Thanks to those advantages, filler masterbatch has broad applications in blow molding, injection molding, packaging, plastic frames, door production, and PVC pipe manufacturing...

EuroPlas have more than 15 years of producing and exporting filler masterbatch to thousands of businesses including Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Europe... We offer a wide range of filler masterbatch to help you save cost, enhance productivity and produce high-quality plastic products. Learn more about our product's features below:
