Different types of pigments came from different suppliers require different dosage. Their ability to disperse and display the color are also depended in the quality and ratio of pigments used. In addition, some color pigments have bad heat resistance, leading to the alteration in color performance. As consequence, the final product does not achieve the right color it supposes to be.

The nature as well as the composition of color masterbatch also affect the quality of masterbatch colorants and cause the color difference. To be more specific, the existence of admixtures in pigment or base resin induces color imperfection. Using off-grade resin is also a reason causing this problem.
